Air Handling Unit

One component of the air conditioning system is the air handling unit (AHU). A metal box containing the various air conditioning and ventilation components such as a fan, heating and/or cooling elements, filters, and dampers.

The AHU takes in air from outside or inside the building, processes it by filtering, heating, cooling, or humidifying it as needed, and then pipes it to different areas of the building. By controlling airflow and temperature, the AHU helps maintain a pleasant and healthy indoor environment through dampers and other control devices.

Commercial, industrial, and institutional facilities like offices, schools, hospitals, and factories use air AHUs. In addition, some apartment complexes use them, particularly those with centralised air conditioning and heating.

Check out our range of AHUs for various applications.
